NB Atalanta

We are very grateful indeed to have been donated our 6th boat, NB Atalanta. 

She is the generous gift of Terry and Cath O'brien, who have kept and cruised  her for many years from Talbots Wharf in Market Drayton. She's 38 feet long, immaculate inside and so fully equip we don't need to buy so mush as a teaspoon for her! She does need a coat of paint and her hull blacking and this is going to be done as soon as possible. NB Atlanta was moved from Market Drayton to FVA HQ in Sawley, by Pete , Chrissy, Max, Hugo and Flintie the dogs, of Ballinger Towage and Steerage Service. Yet again we can't thank them enough.

A working party has begun preparations for a new coat of paint on NB Atalanta - thanks to all who turned out:

May 2024 - Atalanta has completed her 1st mission with a veteran - who decided he liked living on the water so much, he managed to buy a tiny boat of his own. And that's what we call a result! We are now considering  a shortlist of veterans to loan Atalanta to.
